  1. Go outside and have some fun…..the happiest and healthiest people I know have fun doing outdoor hobbies like: hiking, skiing, walking, running, biking, fishing, boating, hunting, camping, surfing, beaching, gardening, horseback riding, kite flying, bird watching or just sitting and reading in a lounge chair. The list is really endless.

  2. Absolute truth! I start each day with a list of things I'm grateful for, followed by a list of my accomplishments & a list of daily goals! Always have an attitude of gratitude! if you focus too much on what others have that you don't have, you will never be happy! Be grateful! it could be a lot worse!

  3. Great content. I agree with her and have found through hard work and desperation, happiness is a by-product of right living. Yet I could not live right, until I was emotionally connected with self and in-tune and balanced with my internal view of self and my actions. What that meant for me was where my thoughts and perception of self aligned with my actions. In that, I had a perception of who I was based on my internal dialog yet my actions didn't reflect that. E.g. "I should really get my girlfriend flowers", but then not follow through. So I walked around thinking I was this great person based on my intentions. Additionally, I did things for love, expecting a return as opposed to out of love. Simply because I didn't truly love self, so I looked externally. In simple terms, I was a narcissist. Of course I didn't realize any of this until out of desperation I was forced to seek a different way to live. Today I'm happy because I love and accept self, thus I can give unconditionally. And we attract that which we are.

"Men do not attract that which they want, but that which they are."
James Allen, As A Man Thinketh

  4. Love it. It definitely is perspective, its so easy to focus on whats not there and compare yourself to others lives. However, when you focus on your life and how bad it could be and how grateful you should be, happiness is born.
